- Account information: if you sign in with Google or Apple, your email address (or, if you choose "Hide My Email" with Apple, the private relay address Apple issues), display name and user ID. - Data you create: reading progress, notes on verses and your meditation, nickname and group membership. - Data kept only on your device: a photo you choose as your mascot (never uploaded to our servers). - Data based on device permissions: the notification permission. - If you use "Send feedback": what you send and its category, the app language, your device type (iOS/Android) and, if you are signed in, your email address and user ID. - Automatically collected data: crash information (device model, OS version, error logs) and the advertising identifier.
To back up and restore your records, carry them across devices, provide group features, deliver notifications, find and fix problems, respond to your questions and feedback, show ads, and provide paid features.
The App uses the services below, and your information is handled under each provider's own policy. - Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics) - Google / Apple (sign-in) - Google AdMob (ad delivery) - Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchases; payment details such as card numbers never reach the operator) - Vercel / Upstash (storing what you send with "Send feedback"; the operator's server at tovmerci.com, with servers in the United States and Japan) - KakaoTalk Channel / LINE Official Account (one-on-one support chat; chats are handled under Kakao's and LINE's own privacy policies)
We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. The services above do receive the information they need to operate. In group features, your nickname and reading progress are visible to the other members of the group.
Data stored in the cloud is kept for as long as needed to provide the service. Data on your device is erased when you uninstall the App. You can delete your account and cloud data yourself from "Delete account" in the Settings of the App, or email us at info@tovmerci.com. Messages received through "Send feedback" are kept for up to one year after we have responded, and then deleted.
Children under 13 should use the App only with a parent's or guardian's consent.
We may update this policy when needed. We will tell you inside the App about any important change.
